Building a City of London mobile rewards app – Delivering rewards to the Cheapside Business District

Cheapside City of London Application

Working with the City of London Cheapside Business Alliance, JUXT created a mobile application to provide workers and inhabitants of the Cheapside area with privileged offers, a map of participating companies, news about community events, and more.

The platform - comprising also of a remote server-side component - was built in a matter of weeks, using ClojureScript and React Native, and the toolchain Expo to facilitate rapid development, allowing us to deliver a prototype and iterate rapidly on modifications as requested by our client.

The platform was delivered on time and on budget and the mobile application has been made available in the Apple and Google app stores.

JUXT is further developing the mobile application, building new functionality that will allow Cheapside Business Alliance to more helpfully interact with their members.

Cheapside Application Interface

We really enjoyed building the Cheapside Business Alliance mobile app and platform. We wanted to demonstrate to the public sector the Clojure philsophy of assembling a system rapidly from small reusable components and delivering business value quickly.
