James Henderson recently joined JUXT as the technical lead on the Crux project.
Before joining JUXT, he worked at both ends of the company-size spectrum, from small startups to an international investment bank, on various projects spanning the software development lifecycle. Most recently, he led the technical division at WeShop, a social e-commerce platform, allowing users to make recommendations to their friends from a catalogue of over 150m products.
James is the author and maintainer of a number of Clojure open source projects including Nomad, a configuration library, and Chime, a lightweight scheduler. He’s currently working on 'Bridje', a Graal compiler for a statically-typed LISP.
Outside of software, James is currently training for his private pilot’s licence and enjoys spending time with his wife and dog in the Essex countryside.
